Hey! CTs are finally over!
ok guys this is like a post out of boredom. however, please be reminded to check the blog on and off for possible gyms or runs together. sure hope cts arent like killing u all. but anyway have fun mugging!Friday, October 20, 2006
Missed training? I did man but bloody groins still giving me problems even when i sleep. haha anyway Training will officially resume next monday at Yio Chu Kang, 3.30pm. I hope all of you had a good break, but also hope that u guys have ran at least thrice over the 3 weeks.
CTs are over, that means training will go into full swing now. We have around 3 more months to the 07 season, ONLY 12 more trainings to prepare. and with the suspension of third language and everything else, i believe all of you should turn up for subsequent gym trainings. =D
These next 3 months will be a period which we should all be pushing ourselves to the limits and urging and competing with one another to improve. Trainings will never be easy, and it will get even tougher as time goes by. But i believe with mutual encouragement and teamwork, we can go far. Remember the targets we have laid down, and the rivals want to defeat: ACS(I), Maris, Sports School. Theres much catching up to do, esp the B Division and we have to work hard to reach our goals. We have to constantly remind ourselves what we are training for and why we are doing this. Its the target we have set, the passion for the sport, for the school, for the team. Only then will all of you be committed in trainings. From Monday's training onwards, there should be no reason for anyone of us to give less than 100% during trainings as the mugging season has come to an end. Refresh yourselves, think through what you want to achieve or help the team achieve and get an inspiration to work ultra super duper hard if u havent got one. We should all be moving forward as a team, but there should be competition amongst us, to display the animals in us and the craving to win and do better even during trainings. For that to happen, we have to spur one another along, motivate and encourage one another.
DREAM.TEAM.FIGHT.WIN
Its used by basketball, but who cares, its fits us just as well. Yes we have a dream, to be the champions, to be in the National finals. We are a team, going through damn tough trainings together and having fun together, and most of all, encouraging and caring for one another during and beyond trainings. But we're not trying hard enough, not until now. We're not pushing ourselves and doing our best, yet. I believe all of us will! Remeber guys, a training without effort put in is a waste of time. To fight and win? The time will come, very soon.
To train hard, and to play hard. There will be time for enjoyment of course. An overnight stay will be confirmed soon, and there will be plentiful outings over the holidays. And the overseas training trip as well of course. Bond and bond we shall!
but Train hard everyone, it's the badminton season. Rock on dudes.
Cheers,
Jiahao
